July, 2013:
After Little Ghost was written, I struggled to figure out what Almond Milks was actually about. Starting a new project defused the bomb that would have killed BgO, but nothing I did would have been too out of place had it just been called Bubblegum Octopus material.
These songs come from a series of experiments with making music in ways that I wouldn't allow myself previously. At the time, I got scared away by the notion of defining a new solo project so immediately, which discouraged me from keeping the songs online or making an official release.

Seven years have passed. With encouragement and guidance from friends and loved ones I've been able to finally commit this EP to the Almond Milks canon. The songs have been remastered, but otherwise untouched for years. My hope is that finishing this album will inspire me to finish the rest of the Almond Milks material I buried and to allow this project to take me to new places.
